The HMS Courageous Society 2010 Reunion will be held at
The Holiday Inn Hotel, Plymouth Hoe, Plymouth Devon,
over the weekend of
Friday 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of March 2010
March 7th 2010 is the 40th anniversary of the launch of HMS Courageous in 1970. It is intended to hold the reunion in Plymouth to allow a function to take place alongside Courageous on Sunday 7th March.
  The reunion is being organised by Chas Cooke who has already reserved the hotel for the dates shown above. It is hoped that, this being the 40th anniversary of the launch of Courageous, we can make this the biggest and best attended reunion yet. We are planning the event this far in advance to ensure that you have the opportunity to book the time off, notify the wife, save your pennies and book a place with us for that weekend. It would be good if we could fill the hotel which has 211 rooms available, 106 double or twin and 105 single. I have already begun negotiations over price and this will be announced very soon.
AFTER THE LATEST ROUND OF NEGOTIATIONS THE HOTEL HAVE AGREED TO REDUCE THE COST TO THOSE SHOWN IN RED BELOW. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PACKAGES INCLUDE B&B ACCOMMODATION, THE REUNION DINNER, 1/2 BOTTLE OF TABLE WINE AND TOASTING SPIRITS AT THE DINNER. REFRESHMENTS (TEA OR COFFEE) FOR THOSE ATTENDING THE AGM ARE ALSO INCLUDED.

Chas is currently speaking to the hotel about the possibility of reducing costs by cutting bar prices for those attending. Any opportunity to minimise cost to the members will be explored but if you have any suggestions please do not hesitate to contact Chas at the following e-mail address.

 The prices will be notified here in the very near future along with a link to a reunion booking form. As this is expected to be a larger than normal reunion it may be wise to secure your attendance by payment of a small deposit at an early stage.
