In order to enhance your retail therapy experience and in line with many of the best shopping malls nationwide (Lakeside at Thurrock, Bluewater at Gravesend, Metro Centre in Newcastle and Commercial Way Precinct in Woking) we have decided to offer a musical background for you to listen to. We hope you enjoy the dulcit tones of The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal marines playing “Jolly Roger”, the march of the Royal Navy Submarine Service! Personally I don’t remember doinf much marching along 2 deck passage in Courageous and the practice was definitely frowned upon in Onslaught and Oberon. Even the wardroom in Resolution prohibited marching although I do know that clandestine marches did take place during the wee small hours in the lower level of the missile compartment! Any way, please enjoy the experience on offer. After all, it is very nice of the bootnecks to provide us with our own little ditty to hum along to.

THE SOCIETY POLO SHIRT HAS ARRIVED

We have just received 50 of the polo shirts shown here. These are now on sale in The Society Shop below.

The shirts are high quality Navy blue polo shirts with the Courageous crest embroidered on the left breast and The Society name and web address embroidered in white on the left sleeve. They come in sizes, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large and Extra Extra Large. They are priced at £16-00 including packaging and postage within the UK. There are a limited number of Small, Medium and Extra Extra large garments so please order early. If we receive an order for a size which has sold out we will immediately give a full refund.

The first batch of 20 belts are now available. Each belt comes with a distinctive and individually signed numbered certificate of authenticity.
